Myrna Skilling entered real estate in 1984 and has
been consistently among the top producers in Chicago. She is a member of the
Chairman’s Circle, which is the highest honor awarded by Prudential Preferred
Properties. While at Coldwell Banker/Kahn, she also received Kahn’s highest honor,
the Gold Sales Achievement Award. In addition, the Chicago Association of Realtors has
recognized Myrna as a top producer and nationally she is among the top five percent of all
residential salespeople. Clients praise Myrna’s personalized service and
old-fashioned hard work as key ingredients in their successful transactions.
A native Chicagoan, Myrna was educated at
the University of Michigan and the University of Chicago with a major in English
Literature. After college she lived in London for twelve years. While in England, she
worked for Paramount Pictures Legal Department, and for an Architectural and Engineering
association. Upon her return to Chicago, Myrna worked for the Chicago Board Options
Exchange. She and her husband, Arnold Levy, also owned and operated a custom cabinetry
design and production business. She has also had many years of experience in marketing and
public relations with Fortune 500 companies.
Myrna’s legal, architectural, design,
and marketing background has made her very successful at working with both buyers and
sellers. She has sold every type of housing in the city from one-bedroom lofts to million
dollar homes in the Gold Coast.
Myrna currently lives in a loft
in the West Loop and enjoy spending time at their second home in Michigan which they have
rehabbed. In the process of rehabbing their homes they developed a long list of
resources for rehabbing and home decoration, as well as many other services and suppliers.
